At Sunspots, we began delving into making our own collection of colors starting in 2013. One type of color that we make is called a Silver-Opal or Chalcedony glass. Iron Maiden, above, is an example of that. These types of colors react to changes in heat as the artist works with them, creating swirling variations within the color. That makes them somewhat unpredictable, but the results are magic!
